The core mission of Splinter Group is to provide affordable workshop and studio space for professional artists and artisans in Austin. We operate a large warehouse in East Austin near the corner of Springdale Road and Cesar Chavez St. We have over 30 different craftspeople and artists under our roof, in either industrial workshop spaces suitable for woodworking or metalworking, or in air-conditioned studio spaces which are ideal for ceramists, jewelers, and painters. We have at least a couple of all those specialties currently in residence, and are always open to adding more, space allowing.
