Atelier 1205 is the gallery and gathering space of two design studios, ADLA and Forsite, in a house built in 1902. For more than a century it was both lived in and worked in by families and boarders, on an East Austin corridor that has always mixed residential and commercial use. We restored the building in 2017 and opened a central gallery alongside our offices. Exhibitions rotate throughout the year with openings, events, and SXSW activations. During the Austin Studio Tour we open the entire space, with work on the gallery walls, artists on hand, and a place to sit and relax in our courtyard
