Sacred Datura is an immersive light installation celebrating the dynamic life cycle of Datura. Deeply tied to Indigenous cultural traditions the project reveals the plant’s botanical beauty through a fusion of physical sculpture and digital media. Visitors move along the creek beneath illuminated seed pods and alongside dynamic fabric flowers that unfurl in real time. Framing this journey, 3D animations projected onto the Red River Street bridge depict the annual life cycle. The installation delivers an unforgettable nighttime experience honoring native flora and transformative natural art.
