I am a Central Texas–based photographic artist creating sculptural portraits and still lifes with fresh flowers, plants, and natural materials. I build each composition by hand and photograph it as a single image without digital compositing. My work explores the relationship between people, nature, memory, and place, drawing inspiration from my ongoing Scent of Broq-pa and Scent of Texas projects. I often work with Texas wildflowers and local communities to reflect the landscape and character of the place I call home.
