My body of work reflects the forest of my mind, grown one species at a time. I am driven to infiltrate the geometric world we inhabit with the untamed, bringing nature’s curious movement into the urban environment. I seek transformation of my materials by using them in mass quantities. Marinading on Geology and Ecology, I uncover these forms in processed materials, acting as the nature upon them, I return them to a natural movement. These acts walk the line between precision and confusion, between pain and pleasure, and between me and this painfully beautiful, brutal, wondrous world. I play.
