I’m Ryan Sleep, a mixed-media painter and street artist working under the name Sleep is Famous. My body of work combines painting, screen printing, and found language to explore consciousness, perception, and how meaning gets buried and layered over time. I’m drawn to symbols people already recognize like street signs, advertising, brand logos, and my own recurring Sleep TV character. Remixing the familiar is how I get at something stranger underneath.
