I am a native Austinite and self-taught mosaic artist who specializes in using recycled materials like stained glass scraps, upcycled wood bases, and repurposed tile. I started making mosaics out of paper during the pandemic as a means to cope and finally graduated to working with glass in all it’s glittery, prismatic forms! I strive to convey what lies just below the surface of the main character or message, the ‘deep lore’ of a story. My work centers around themes of childhood legends, chasing the whimsy, nerdy subculture references, and fantasy as a means of escapism.
