I am a native Austinite fine artist, Homiens Prize Highly Commended Artist and award-winning exhibitor with a decade of experience honing my craft. Blending art and curation, I am inspired by my world travels and studies. My oeuvre is primarily Representational oil and watercolor paintings depicting archaeological subjects, heritage sites, cultural symbols and landscapes. My more recent work, ‘Inventing Mythologies’, explores ideas and motifs through narrative Symbolism. My goal as an artist is to spotlight the quiet relics of humanity, the cultural identities and the nature that shapes us.
