I am a painter working in a traditional representational style. I paint exclusively from real experiences. I paint mostly in oil. My subjects range from figurative to plein air but it is always from real life. I relish the opportunity to intimately know a subject rather than just snap a photo and walk away. My goal is to transfer that feeling into the canvas and through it to the viewer. Every brush stroke is an interpretation of a real tactile emotional response that has been spilled onto the canvas to be shared with the world.
