I am a native Austin artist working primarily in acrylic, oil, watercolor and colored pencil. My paintings emerge from personal experience and emotional complexity, exploring the psyche, the outer world, and the intricate interplay between the two. Through journaling and intuitive impressions, I weave visual stories that reach into the deeper lore and enduring mysteries of human nature. In contrast, I enjoy creating playful, illustrative works featuring animals, exploring the curious and sometimes quirky ways I see the natural world – a welcome breather from the intensities of life.
