Realism tells a story, a true story. I love people, nature, and beautiful objects and so….I paint what I love and share those feelings with the art patron. I paint very realistically, and from life (not photos). Portraits offer me a “real connection to life”, the landscape offers me peace and quiet, and objects help me “remember” and celebrate the small things in life. My paintings are done in oil on canvas and are beautifully framed. I have recently moved from Santa Fe, NM and am looking forward to getting to know the Austin art community and to paint the Texas landscape.
