I’m a self-taught artist making monochromatic pen-and-ink drawings. My main medium is Bic pen on smooth paper. In a way, the end product is a visual of what I think streams of consciousness would look like if they were part of the material field. They are elongated thread-like pathways: the systems that move us through space and time (if you think about it), not dissimilar to the circulatory system, meandering rivers, or interstate highways. A life without a fixed home base has made transience literal for me, and my practice maps the routes we carve through rumination.
