I am a representational oil painter working in Austin since since graduating from UT in 2006, participating in the studio tours since 2007. My work has evolved and changed over the last twenty years, from magical realism symbolic portraiture to a focus on insects, pollinators and carnivorous plants, to more traditional landscape. I am currently creating a new body of work focused on intensely colorful botanical landscapes representing our collective desire for a free society.
