I create collages from upcycled postage stamps. Each hand-cut stamp piece is placed into the composition, often with hidden “Easter Eggs” for those who take the time to slow down and look more closely. I love working with stamps – there is a mystery and energy to them. Questions arise such as: where has this stamp been? Why was it sent? Was it a postcard? A love letter? Pen pals? And, there is DNA on them!
