My art is inspired by connection. I paint to travel and travel to paint, exploring new landscapes, early morning light, and wild spaces. I bring watercolor journals on my adventures and occasionally paint in plein air, while my primary focus is in the studio working on oil paintings. My goal is to capture the true essence of the land that a camera misses, creating work that allows others to reconnect with these places. I work out of my studio at Canopy in Austin, and my paintings are sold nationwide.
