Clay is a medium I love because it can be beautifully irregular, show movement while still, convey complexity and simplicity simultaneously: the push, the pull is what it’s all about. I often work with organic forms, but lately I’ve also been drawn to inanimate objects that invite narratives and, in a sense, have lives of their own, shown through variations of color and form. I have participated in group shows in museums and galleries.
