I am a multidisciplinary artist predominantly working in watercolor as well as graphite, charcoal and pen & ink. My passion for the romanticized and rugged West, where the male character is often dominant, is counterbalanced with the elegance and femininity of Mother Nature. A lot of my work has to do with the balance between the natural world and the human condition. More recently, I finished treatment for stage 3A colon cancer, and am curious to see how that experience shows itself within this new stage of remission.
