Visitors can expect high-end oil paintings with lowbrow subjects. This year’s Studio Tour will include several new original paintings, some tried and true classics, and plenty of prints and small gifts. The dribget booth is generally full of happy, cackling customers, and Clover & Maven’s fabulous AST popup is a perfect spot to start off your weekend. Though most paintings lean towards whimsical visuals, several pieces contain colorful language that might not be appropriate for young readers.
