I’ve been a potter for about 19 years. All my pieces are hand-built or wheel-thrown (or both) and glazed by hand, with as much attention to the feel and function as to the aesthetics. Often elements such as wood, leather, wire, copper, or gold are added to create an interesting juxtaposition of media. My strongest pull is to sneak art into everyday items, giving people a reason to pause and find joy in the everyday regular things they do.
