I’m a CalArts-educated artist who moves between beauty and the intellectual. I’m known for disassembling idealization and for approaching the spectacle—to reveal how fantasy organizes our everyday experience. Color and subtle humor are both important in my work. I find beauty most vivid within the structural failures of desire. This, for me, is where actual life resides. It is where I turn towards hopefulness.
