I am a lifelong artist with an MFA from UT, practicing art at my home studio in Austin. I create oil paintings of still lifes, landscapes, and interior scenes, based on direct observation, photographs, drawings, and my imagination. While much of my work involves direct observation of subject matter I set up in my studio, I enjoy altering colors, shifting perspectives, and introducing abstract elements into my paintings.
