I’m a watercolor artist, living in Austin Texas, who primarily paints outside, on location (Plein-air). Old homes, old trees, gardens, parks and people in these environments, are my favorite subjects. While many of my paintings don’t show a human figure, I want to capture the influence of the human hand. I want to say ‘this time and this place matters’. I’m currently working on a project to paint, live and on location, all 89 Texas State Parks. Visiting these parks, has allowed me to see so much of the great state of Texas, and hold it in my paintings and sketchbooks.
