Caroline Walker is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in sculpture and photo composites, using materials that include steel, wood, and organic objects. Her work centers on memory, place, and human connection, often using forms such as houses, ladders, staircases, and pathways. These recurring forms suggest movement, transition, and transformation while reflecting the traces people leave behind and the ways spaces can hold a sense of presence even in absence. Her work considers how connection is formed, lost, and carried forward over time.
