My fiber art adventures in hand-weaving began in 2021, after I discovered beautiful handspun art yarn by artisans across the world. My works are comprised of art yarn and yarn of varying weights, wool roving, fabric ribbons, and other textiles, primarily sourced from women-owned or independently-owned shops. My hoop, tapestry, and sculptural weavings have ranged from 3″ up to approximately 48” x 30”, which have taken me between 1 hour, up to more than 40 hours, to complete. When I’m not weaving (or shopping for weaving), I enjoy coffee, books, and mindless board & card games.
