My paintings are full of intense energy and color. When painting, I examine the undercurrent of thought, logic, and emotional tension that shape the human experience- with each picture a snapshot of the beauty and truth found in darkness and in light. Music, literature, historical and current events are focal points of my work. Conveying intuition and spontaneity through the visual language of abstraction, I explore themes of contradiction, unity, and the sublime.
