April Garner paints scenes of native wildlife and elements of local flora which are inspired by experiences, memories, and fables. Her oil paintings merge realism with gestural abstraction to emphasize the drama of birds and animals portrayed within imagined landscapes. April spent her youth exploring the lakes and wild spaces of central Texas.
