Annie is an Austin-based artist and art educator creating vibrant, highly detailed paintings and works on paper. Her work is defined by bold, saturated color and intricate patterns inspired by quilting, decorative tile, textiles, florals and traditional craft. Large figures and familiar imagery are surrounded by dense layers of pattern and detail, creating pieces that feel joyful, immersive and full of things to discover. Her work celebrates color, ornamentation and the beauty of making something slowly, carefully and by hand.
