I am an abstract painter living and working in the Hill Country outside of Austin, Texas. I am a fierce celebrant of nature deliberately contrasted with the geometric forms and patterns of the built environment. I work in acrylics with self-made collage materials, monoprints and mixed media additions, inspired by the silence and rhythms of plants, critters and and music written about the land. I’ve studied at the Art School of The Contemporary Austin and taken multiple online classes about gel printing. I’m a member of the Creative Arts Society of Austin and the Williamson County Art Guild.
