Printmaking
This body of work is inspired by the forms, patina, and emotional resonance of old objects and technology. I collect antique telephones, stereoscopes and View-Masters, and hand tools passed down across three generations. I feel deeply sentimental about their history: carved initials, worn wooden handles, and telltale signs of use. Modern tools have their own pull for me: bold form, vibrant color, and raw power. Working in print, paint, and collage built from richly textured, painted pages of old books and ephemera, I explore both old and new, and elevate these objects to a place of reverence.

What To expect

Come see a new body of work exploring retro technology, hand tools passed down for generations, and the bold form and color of modern tools — through collage, print, and paint. Week one, find me in Central Austin at Ashley Thompson’s location alongside multiple artists; week two, I’ll open my personal studio in North Austin, where you can also view my collections of antique telephones, View-Masters, and stereoscopes. I’ll be showing and selling original work at both locations at a range of price points, and I love talking about my process, collections, and building creative community.
