I use tie dye techniques to create clothing, accessories, and art that combine bold colors and unique styles. Starting with Procion dyes and cloth, I create using both liquid dyeing and ice dyeing. With these techniques and a variety of different ways to tie the materials before applying the color, I’m able to explore various colors and patterns, both representational and abstract. My goal as an artist is to craft pieces that give a feeling of joy.
