Barrio Pop Studio and Brain Arts Lab bring cultural storytelling and neuroaesthetics into dialogue through contemporary art. Co-curated by Carlos Moreno and Niru Kumar, our group exhibition at Quimera Gallery features Austin-based artists exploring diaspora, ancestral landscapes, cultural identity, environmental consciousness, and collective memory. Our curatorial work encourages slow looking and shared inquiry into how materials, images, and artistic practices connect communities to land, place, and one another.
